Narrative
On March 10, 2010 officers from the Dover Police Department Sex Offender Unit were conducting sex offender verifications. During which they discovered that William Hignutt had moved from his registered address of 246 N. Dupont Highway in Dover.
Hignutt failed to register a new address with the State Bureau of Identification. Hignutt is a Tier 2 sex offender.Hignutt is also listed as a juvenile runaway.
A warrant has been obtained for him. If anyone knows of his whereabouts they are asked to contact the Dover Police at 736-7111.

On March 13, 2010 the suspect was located after an anonymous tip. He was sleeping at the abandoned Dover Car wash at 226 N.Dupont Highway.
He was arrested without incident and later committed to the Stevenson House in Milford default bond.
